PROJECT DESCRIPTION
A library for the city.
The history of Enterprize Park is that of a sequence of injuries; both physical and meta-
phorical.
Some of these injuries are invisible; alterations to the landscape to make it a turning
basin have since been replaced additional layers of man made landscaping. Others
are embodied metaphorically; the scar trees installation represents the grief of first
nations people.
My proposal for a library on the Enterprize park site embraces these injuries as a
framework from which space is generated; to create an infrastructure that deals with
the associated grief but generates new possibilities.
